provides mental  health and substance abuse services to children & adults within the  County of Fresno. The programs within our department focus on delivering  the highest quality of service.

There are over 300 professionals and staff dedicated to providing  services in both metropolitan and rural areas. The diversity of our  staff has helped us create a department that is sensitive to cultural  differences and attempts to bridge the language barriers with our  clients.

Central Valley Suicide Prevention

Central Valley Suicide Prevention Hotline is an immediate and  consistent support for individuals in crisis or experiencing a suicidal  crisis. The hotline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is  confidential and free.

The trained staff and volunteers conduct the following:

  • Save the caller and offers immediate support
  • Develop a safety plan for the caller
  • Reach out to callers with post crisis follow-up to ensure that they are safe and getting the help the caller may need.

NAMI Fresno

At the heart of NAMI’s mission is our grassroots and the sharing of  information with people with mental illness, their families, friends,  mental health professionals, and the general public.

RCS Fresno

The mission of RCS Fresno is to end rape and sexual violence and empower survivors while supporting safe, consensual relationships. 

RCS advocates provide confidential help to sexual violence survivors that is trauma-informed and culturally competent. We listen and respond to requests for information without judgment. We personally accompany sexual violence survivors to sexual assault forensic exams under Penal Code 264.2(b)(1). Upon request, we accompany survivors to law enforcement interviews or court proceedings. We provide therapy and supportive service referrals and other help to all sexual violence survivors in Fresno County.

Majaree Mason Center

Provides 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, court advocacy, counseling for adults and children and support groups. 

Marjaree Mason Center provides emergency and longer-term Safe Housing, along with a wide variety of support services for victims of domestic violence in Fresno County.
