Consolidated Care includes the combined forces of the former Mental Health Services and Alcohol/Drug Addiction Services agencies. Although our name has changed, we continue to provide the best substance abuse treatment, mental health counseling and crisis intervention support in the region. Together we are the premier provider of mental health and alcohol/drug treatment services in Logan, and Champaign counties. Individuals or families impacted by drug or alcohol addiction and mental illness can feel isolated and without options. Consolidated Care (CCI) employs experienced counselors who will tailor a treatment plan to meet an individual's or family's needs. Staff members compassionately treat residents of Logan, Champaign and Hardin counties. Working together, we seek to contribute to healthier individuals and a healthier community.
Domestic Violence - Domestic violence includes domestic abuse, spousal abuse, intimate partner violence, battering, or family violence. It is a pattern of coercive behavior which involves violence or other forms of abuse by one person against another in a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. Domestic violence can take place in heterosexual and same-sex family relationships. Domestic violence can involve violence against children in the family or violence against a roommate. Other destructive abuses usually occur in the relationship such as economic, mental, emotional, sexual, verbal, and power and control tactics.
Addiction - Whether court-ordered or voluntary, establishing a recovery program from substance dependence helps individuals return to productive lives and improve family relationships.
Adult Outpatient - We help people manage and overcome mental illness, emotional disorders, and family or relationship problems. Our counselors listen and ask the questions that will help clients understand their challenges and develop strategies to improve their lives. The National Alliance of Mental Illness estimates that 65 percent of individuals diagnosed with major depression will recover, and up to 80 percent of those affected by bipolar disorder can expect to overcome the illness. Once connected to the resources they need, our clients have been able to regain the ability to function, develop hope and joy in their lives, and find ways to be productive and happy again.
Children & Adolescent - While depression and problems at home are among the most frequent needs for outpatient mental health services, Consolidated Care (CCI) offers three levels of counseling for children and adolescents struggling with mental health conditions or addiction.
Youth and family counseling - Includes help adjusting to life changes, as well as treatment for ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm behaviors, school behaviors and other mental health conditions. More than 85 percent of youth in our home-based program are maintained in their homes at the completion of treatment. This reduces more costly, and disruptive, out-of-home placements.
Intensive home-based services - Provide mental health treatment in the home to help stabilize difficult behaviors. Youth are referred to this program when there is a risk of removal from the home due to mental health challenges.
Group therapy - Assists youth with mental health or drug and alcohol challenges. Groups offer unique opportunities to address their concerns by helping them understand and support others with similar challenges. Both youth and parents report reductions in self-harming behavior, drug and alcohol use, and improved school and family behaviors.
Mental Health - While the majority of eligible individuals participate in outpatient therapy, others may qualify for case management, crisis support and psychiatric services. Mental health services focus on developing coping skills and empowering individuals to live fulfilling, meaningful lives. Consolidated Care utilizes proven treatment protocols that offer evidence-based outcomes including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Our areas of specialty include military issues, domestic violence, sexual assault and trauma.
Fees and Payment
We accept various insurance and payment option such as Medicaid, State financed health insurance plan other than Medicaid, Medicare, Private health insurance, Cash or self-payment and military insurance. We also offer a sliding fee scale program which is based on income and other factor.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
