ACTNow for Mental Health envisions a world where all young adults have reduced barriers to care, receive the right care at the right time, and are free from mental and behavioral health stigma.
Mental health is fundamental and ANMH is committed to showing up for communities that have too long been underserved by the mental health system. We aim to shine a national light on the mental struggles facing all young adults —while celebrating the successes that prove what’s possible with equitable access to therapy. We mobilize our network of leaders to lobby for real policy change from the top down.
Services are provided by masters level graduate students under supervision of two LCSW's with a combined 40 years in the field as therapists and supervisors. These student therapists provide comprehensive and compassionate care, with 100% of surveyed clients reporting that they would recommend ANMH's services to a friend. Our goal is to serve young adults 17-32 years old who have historically been underserved, including but not limited to: LGBTQIA+ and POC populations, people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, and people who are uninsured or underinsured.
No payment is required, all services with ANMH are free 100% of the time!
One quick last question. Who was seeking counseling today?
Do you know the reason they are not accepting clients?
