Medical Detoxification As one of the top providers of behavioral healthcare services, Bridgeway Behavioral Health offers different options for detoxification from drug or alcohol dependence. After assessing the need and severity of withdrawal symptoms, our medical team will put together an individualized treatment plan to accommodate your needs.
Outpatient Treatment Services There are different levels of service, whether you are stepping down from another level of care or just starting treatment, outpatient programming can fit into your schedule to so that you can achieve and maintain recovery from drugs and alcohol.

Intensive Outpatient Intensive Outpatient for adolescents age 13-19 is provided after school and full time days during summer months. Preferred Adolescent Services work with teens to teach them the tools they need to avoid drugs and alcohol and focus on their own health and well being while thinking about their futures.
The Farm The Farm will be an intensive adolescent Day Treatment program with Supported Housing. This holistic therapeutic treatment program will work with adolescents ages 13 - 19 who need to receive uninterrupted treatment and support on all issues related to the substance abuse.
Day Treatment Day Treatment offers teens an intensive level of care focused on working on all the areas of life that are contributing to their substance abuse. Through group, family and individual therapy, workforce development, recreational supports and overall life skills counseling, teens will work towards being fulfilled in maintaining sobriety in their day to day lives.
In-Custody In partnership with Queen of Peace, we work with adolescents age 17-19 who are being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Youth who are at risk of continued substance abuse receive therapeutic support while they are in the justice system and resource planning for when they are released that will enable the them to continue working on their goals.
In-Home Family Therapy In-home family therapy exists to make sure that we are working with families to overcome the barriers of accessing treatment and support resources. Our team works with clients and families in the home and in the community to make sure they have options that are accessible.
SATOP Class Locations in St. Louis Our Substance Abuse Traffic Offenders Program (SATOP) provides help to individuals who have alcohol and drug-related traffic offenses. As an Offender Management Unit, we screen and refer individuals to appropriate SATOP class locations in St. Louis. This program is available at most of our sites.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
