Adult Outpatient Services - CLM provides office-based treatment for adults coping with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief/loss, troubled relationships, life transitions, post-partum depression and other women's issues, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, alcohol and drug-related concerns.
Adult Community Support Services - Provides a multi-faceted range of services with a goal of supporting restoration, rehabilitation and recovery for clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, mood and depressive disorders. Our goal is to help clients attain their optimal health and live as fully as possible within their own communities. Our clinical case managers use a community-based approach, working with clients directly in their homes, workplaces and other community settings to achieve and sustain recovery, and enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Child, Adolescent and Family Services - CLM provides the area's most comprehensive array of mental health care for children and their families. Our specialists work with children experiencing serious emotional difficulties such as depression, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, autism, disruptive behaviors, substance use disorders, and trauma associated with emotional, physical or sexual abuse. Emotional health impacts each area of a child's life including family, school and social relationships. CLM encourages a "wrap-around" approach that, whenever possible and necessary, pulls together other community resources to address the interconnected areas of a child's life. CLM is committed to an outreach approach that provides many services to children in their home, at school or in other community settings.
Groups for Children and Adolescents - CLM's Child, Adolescent and Family services regularly offers a number of psycho-therapeutic and skill-building groups focused on helping children and teens attain success. Led by children's clinicians, the groups are geared to specific age groups and cover a variety of topics including anxiety disorders, anger management, self-esteem, social skills, substance use, grief/loss, dialectic behavioral therapy, emotional regulation. Being a part of a therapeutic group can be a profound, powerful and helpful experience for children and teens.
Senior Services - As our population ages, more individuals and families are faced with issues of aging and related needs for special care. CLM Senior Services provides professional treatment to individuals ages 60 and older, families and family caregivers coping with a variety of emotional health issues such as depression, coping with loss, anxiety and stress related disorders, coping with demands of caring for an aging relative or spouse, as well as emotional issues that may accompany medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Our staff can assist with making the right choices about the type of care our clients and/or their family member needs, link them with community services and offer insights into the emotional needs of seniors and their caregivers.
Emergency Services - When episodes or periods of emotional crisis happen in our lives unexpectedly, CLM offers an array of emergency services for our clients and our community. The services CLM offers are designed to provide additional support and treatment to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis while assisting them in stabilizing their condition to get them back to their daily routine as quickly as possible. Employee Assistance Program for Businesses - CLM's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an employee benefit program designed to help businesses help their employees deal with personal issues that might adversely impact their job performance, health and overall well-being. Issues for which the EAP provides support include: occupational stress, emotional distress, substance use, health concerns, major life events, grief/loss, and relationship issues.
Fees and Payment
Nearly all of the services we offer at CLM are covered by health insurance. We have contracts with most area health insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare. We will inform you of any co-pays, deductibles or other costs for which you may be responsible. Our intake specialists can assist with questions regarding insurance and any financial questions you might have.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
