Familias Unidas
West Contra Costa County educators, civic leaders, mental health professionals and residents established Familias Unidas in 1979. The founders of our nonprofit organization envisioned a "community counseling and information center" helping people in a holistic and culturally appropriate manner.
Familias Unidas exists to improve wellness and self-sufficiency in Latino and other communities. We accomplish this by delivering quality mental health counseling, service advocacy, and information/referral services.
