Family Therapy - IHBT provides families with skills and techniques to assist youth whom are at-risk of an out of home placement or youth whom are returning from an out of home placement to improve their emotional, behavioral, academic, and familial functioning while working within their natural environment and in collaboration with family members and other involved professionals and agencies, in the hope that the child and family may successfully stay intact and function at a higher level.
Addiction - The Substance Use Disorders Program intervenes in the lives of individuals and families who are at risk of or are experiencing difficulties as a result of alcohol and/or drug use. There is a specialized focus on treating children, adolescents, adults and families with concurrent Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol issues.
In our approach, Assessments are completed to determine the extent of any drug and/or alcohol use and to assess the client's mental health needs. Services are provided by licensed mental health professionals who specialize in addiction treatment. Counseling is available for individuals with substance use issues as well as for their families and significant others.
Sexual Abuse - If you suffer from the consequences of child sexual abuse, you are not alone! According to RAINN, the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization, a child is sexually assaulted in the U.S. every eight minutes.
The STOP Program is a coordinated community program for providing immediate and continuous help to child sexual abuse victims, offenders, and their families.
The treatment portion of this program provides therapeutic intervention to sexual abuse victims, their families and offenders, The goal of the program is to enable families to lead productive, mentally healthy and abuse free lives.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
