LifeSpring is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit Community Mental Health Center which began as a small outpatient clinic for children in the city of Jeffersonville, Indiana in 1964.

Children and FamilY Services

LifeSpring provides comprehensive services to children ages 0-17. Our staff is trained in addressing the unique challenges our young people face. If you need extra help with your child, call our office today. Being a parent is tough, and sometimes you may need help with your children. Sometimes, parents don't know if they need additional help. Some signs which may indicate your child needs additional help, include:

* Has problems at school or disobeys rules at home;
* Has problems eating or sleeping;
* Shows sudden changes in mood or behavior, or is frequently angry or aggressive;
* Has strange thoughts or feelings or exhibits unusual behavior;
* Isolates from others or has few friends;
* Appears not to have a conscience;
* Mentions or attempts suicide;
* Uses drugs or alcohol;
* Lies or steals;
* Has attempted or threatened to run away.

Whatever the situation, LifeSpring can assist your family in determining the best way to help your child. Call your local LifeSpring office to set up a comprehensive assessment, and help your child be on the road to recovery.

Assessment

Trained LifeSpring staff work with clients to determine what their needs are and help clients determine the best way to address them.

Individual Outpatient Treatment

Clients work one-on-one with a LifeSpring therapist or care manager to address their needs, set goals, and work towards their recovery.

Individual Outpatient Group

Clients work together in a group, facilitated by a LifeSpring therapist or care manager to learn new skills, and to learn from and support each other.

Medical Services

Appropriate clients are referred to psychiatrists for a psychiatric assessment, and to determine if medication will aid in their recovery. Additionally, LifeSpring employs a staff of licensed nurses who work with clients to address their concerns about medication, nutrition and other healthcare issues.

Fees and Payment

Some individuals may qualify for a sliding scale fee plan. Additionally, LifeSpring is a Medicaid/Medicare provider, and clients who have either of these carriers may not have a co-pay.
