DAPT Programs provides professional, confidential, and affordable care for substance abusing and chemically dependent individuals in the Houston Area. Our goal is to help our clients and their families get well. ADAPT has a long history of helping individuals recover their lives from the disease of addiction. In 2005, we opened our first location in Pearland, TX. ADAPT thrived in the Pearland location and within five years had outgrown the building. With a full census and lengthy waiting list, ADAPT began to expand and open additional treatment locations, primarily in areas traditionally underserved by other providers.

That is why you will need to partner with professionals who know what you are up against and who can see the road ahead - even when you lose sight of the step forward.
Outpatient Services (intensive outpatient, supportive outpatient) - We recognize that everyone comes to recovery under unique circumstances and that most patients must also keep up with work, schooling, and family responsibilities. For that reason we offer both an Intensive Outpatient Program (10 hour weekly commitment) and a Supportive Outpatient Program (4 hour weekly commitment), both of which are facilitated by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
Adolescent Outpatient Treatment Program - Young people in need of alcohol and drug treatment will find the tools and support they need to turn their lives around. Using the fundamentals of the 12-Step program, adolescents will actively focus on their recovery for 10 hours every week (at least 3 days a week). With the mentorship of our licensed professional counselors they will trade in their destructive habits for positive reinforcements, and construct a compelling vision of the freedom that lies on the other side of addiction.
Mental Health Program - ADAPT's drug rehab center services include a robust mental health program, which is supervised by our board-certified psychiatrist. Counseling sessions are also available should other mental health concerns arise during the course of recovery.

This 32-hour course is court-ordered and standardized across the state of Texas. Fees and Payment
There are a variety of different insurance options available for individuals with the disease of addiction; therefore we address the topic of insurance coverage here to help you make the decision that is right for you and your family. While ADAPT Programs prefers to receive full payment from each client directly, we also understand that, because insurance benefits may decrease your out of pocket costs, some may want to utilize insurance coverage for the addiction recovery process. If you self-pay in advance, you will enjoy deep discounts compared to the charges invoiced to insurance carriers. Why? In order to help offset the considerable administrative expense to deal with insurance companies on your behalf, we must charge accordingly. Even though we will advocate for you, please be aware that ADAPT Programs cannot mandate that your insurance company assume responsibility for your fees. An insurance policy is a contract between you and the insurance company.

One quick last question. Who was seeking counseling today?
Do you know the reason they are not accepting clients?
A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
