Individual Counseling Through counseling, individuals receive emotional support from licensed professionals , who are trained in evidenced based techniques, that will work with you to resolve problems, conflicts and understand feelings.
Adult Support Groups OBHAW Groups and Classes are designed to help clients develop skills that are applicable to real life situations. It is important to us that every hour spent in a group is spent productively.
Psychiatry Our psychiatric services are designed to assist the healing process. Our on-staff doctors and nurses are passionate about using evidence-based treatments to make the therapeutic process more effective.
For Kids
Individual Counseling We offer a variety of therapeutic services for ages 0-17 in our children's outpatient office. Our licensed professionals will work with not only your child but the family as well. We will work with you and your child to help understand and resolve problems that your child may be facing.
The CLIMB Center The CLIMB Center provides support to strengthen families and improve the emotional, behavioral, and academic wellbeing of children and adolescents in our community.

School-Based Counseling OBHAW School-Based Counseling is aimed at helping kids, teens, and young adults succeed in their classroom and thrive at home. Our staff is passionate about helping kids learn social skills, behavioral skills, and coping skills that will help them reach their goals.
TRAUMA INFORMED CARE FOR KIDS OBHAW has therapists trained and certified for the treatment of trauma for both children and adults. OBHAW is offering new and innovative way to help decrease symptoms of trauma services we offer to help those overcome the manifestations of trauma are as follows: Trauma Sensitive Yoga for Children Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Children and Adolescents Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Trauma for Children Wraparound Services Wraparound exists to serve families who need more help coordinating their care. The goal of Wraparound is to help kids, teens and young adults stay in their home, community, and/or school. For Families Couples Counseling Family Counseling Wraparound Services Parenting Classes Distance Counseling Services Technology can now be used to overcome barriers to getting help. We have counselors that are trained in technology assisted counseling. This means that we can see you for counseling in your own home or another office using a web camera. Clients will have a special link that they will have access to through their own laptop or computer (must have a camera) to log in and talk to their counselor face to face through the internet. This new service can help those who have difficulty with transportation, live a long distance, or has difficulty getting out of their home.
Fees and Payment
The cost of counseling at OBHAW is dependent on your insurance provider. We work with a variety of insurance providers including (but not limited to): BlueCross BlueShield Humana Medicaid Medicare Cigna Tricare QualChoice Novasys/Ambetter WellCare Aetna HealthScope Optum
If you do not have insurance, there are other payment options. Our team will work in partnership with you to find the best payment source. If paying out-of-pocket is the best fit for you, we will use our sliding fee scale to determine the cost of your services.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
