TCV provides a continuum of services, care and support that empowers individuals, families and communities with behavioral, mental health, substance abuse and/or developmental issues to sustain their recovery and achieve the important possibilities in their lives. We never forget that we are here to serve our customers. Their needs define our services, programs and operations. We respect their choices. We share and give others power. Through this process, our customers develop greater mastery and competence so that they can better solve their problems and meet their needs. Similarly, we support staff development and appropriately delegate tasks and encourage employee input.
Services Offered
Adult Drug and Alcohol Services - TCV provides recovery-focused behavioral health services to persons who wish to lead a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle and/or to reduce potential harm associated with substance abuse.
Behavioral Health Services - TCV offers a variety of services for individuals experiencing difficulties related to mental illness.
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities - These IDD services are the focus of TCV.

Child and Adolescent Programs - TCV Children and Family Services provides a full continuum of behavioral health care for children, adolescents and their families.
Group Counseling - Group counseling provides a unique and dynamic atmosphere to address specific issues. Building support with people who share similar concerns, giving and receiving feedback, and observing successes and challenges are just a few of the advantages of group counseling. TCN offers group therapy including Anger Management, our Recovery Program day treatment for severe mental illness, and dialectical behavior therapy group, Wise Minds.
Substance Use Treatment -TCN OFFERS MANY LEVELS OF CARE THAT FOCUS ON RECOVERY AND COPING SKILLS IN SOBRIETY. CLIENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BECOME A PART OF THE LOCAL RECOVERY COMMUNITY THROUGH ATTENDANCE OF 12-STEP MEETINGS ALONG WITH THE USE OF GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING.
Outpatient Services - All of TCN's outpatient services are designed to fit your personal needs. Through the use of group counseling, individual counseling, and case management services we will work with you to create goals and tailor a program that best suits you.
Fees and Payment
Services are offered on a sliding-scale payment based upon your income level. All age ranges are welcome. We are also a nonprofit agency.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
