St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester offers a multi-disciplinary treatment approach that is consistent with the 12-Step model of recovery. CHILD AND ADOLESCENT SERVICES - Our multidisciplinary staff combines experience, expertise and caring to help children and families through the immediate effects of an illness and beyond. We offer inpatient and outpatient services designed to restore and improve the capacity of children and adolescents to master the complex tasks of growth and development. We are available whenever your family needs us, 24 hours a day.
Mental Health Services - St. Vincent's Westchester offers a full range of mental health treatment services for children and adolescents. Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation so we can develop an individualized care plan. Our multidisciplinary clinical staff offers individual, group and family therapy and medication management when indicated.

Chemical Dependency Recovery Services - St. Vincent's provides a comprehensive set of chemical dependency treatment services for adolescents and young adults who are experiencing problems with alcohol and/or other drugs. The objectives of the programs are to:
* Remove obstacles related to alcohol and substance abuse that impede normal growth and development
* Restore the natural developmental processes
* Promote social, physical, familial and emotional health and well being.
OUTPATIENT ADDICTION RECOVERY SERVICES - In order to meet the challenges of chemical dependency, St. Vincent's offers a multi-disciplinary treatment approach that is consistent with the 12-Step model of recovery. The primary objective of treatment is to help persons suffering from these illnesses to achieve and maintain abstinence from alcohol and all illicit and/or medically unauthorized drugs. The goal is to assist clients in learning the attitudes, skills, abilities and information necessary for successful and fulfilling recoveries.
OUTPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE - St. Vincent's Outpatient Mental Health Service provides comprehensive psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults and seniors at a clinic level of care. Services include psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis, pharmacotherapy, and psychotherapy (individual, group, couples and family). There are specialized tracks for the treatment of clients with co-occurring substance abuse disorders, mood disorders, serious mental illness, and issues involving trauma.
Crisis Prevention and Response Team - The CPRT is an interdisciplinary mobile team of mental health professionals (social workers, a child and family specialist and a psychiatrist). The Team responds to people in the community, usually visiting them at home, although they can be seen elsewhere as well. The team also has offices at Saint Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers and at St. Vincent's Hospital in Harrison.
We accept rolling admission to the program, so clients can start within 48-72 hours following an intake and evaluation. St. Vincent's Westchester accepts Medicaid, Medicare, some private insurances, and a sliding scale for self payment. Review your medical record without charge. Obtain a copy of your medical record for which the hospital can charge a reasonable fee.
