Individual/ Interpersonal Psychotherapy: Through one-on-one conversations, this approach focuses on the patient's current life and relationships within the family, social, and work environments.
Play Therapy: Geared toward young children, this technique uses play to establish communication with the therapist and resolve problems.

At WellSpan Philhaven, we are here to help. By developing a care plan tailored to you, our anxiety therapists and counselors can chart a path toward hope, healing, and wholeness. Group therapy, psychotherapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) are three options we can incorporate into your care plan. We will help you better understand your anxiety, providing you with approaches and strategies to help you deal with your stressors.
Family Therapy
Sometimes, a therapist includes a couple or family together in therapeutic interactions. This may involve discussions and problem-solving sessions facilitated by a therapist.
Couples Therapy
Through couples therapy, you can discover the underlying patterns in your relationship that are at the root of your issues. Learn how to shift things to a new, positive direction - overcoming obstacles to develop a deeply satisfying relationship.
Group Therapy (Outpatient)
This form of therapy involves a group of usually two to ten people who have similar problems meeting regularly with a therapist.
As with all counseling services offered at WellSpan Philhaven, everything in group therapy is confidential. Discussion with peers who share similar experiences and challenges can help shed new light into situations you are facing.
