Services include, but are not limited to, addictions crisis counseling, outpatient services, community residences, supportive living, housing, and care management.Our detox center, crisis center, residential substance abuse treatment and addiction supportive housing allow us to support a client through every stage of recovery. Services Offered
Addictions Crisis Center (ACC) - FLACRA's Addictions Crisis Center (ACC) is an immediate care facility for people suffering from the impact of substance abuse. Services include medical stabilization, detoxification, assessment and referral to treatment.
Adult, Child and Youth Care Management Services - FLACRA's Care Management program assists individuals experiencing chronic medical, mental health and/or substance use disorders conditions with care coordination and related community-based services. Our Care Managers assist clients in coordinating mental health, substance use, medical and social services appointments. They ensure all providers are working together to collaborate and share treatment information to better support the client's individual wellness and promote self-sufficiency.
Mental Health Services - FLACRA Mental Health Services (FMHS) are an integral part of comprehensive care. Our mental health clinic is staffed by licensed clinicians and psychiatrists who provide individual and family treatment services utilizing a client-centered approach. FMHS clinical services are designed to meet the needs of our clients at every stage of treatment. Services include individual and family psychotherapy, medication assisted therapy and group counseling, which is offered in both English and Spanish.
Opioid Treatment Program - FLACRA offers immediate response services including overdose prevention, treatment and community recovery support for addiction to prescription opioids and illicit drugs such as heroin. Through our Center of Treatment Innovation (COTI), we're working to help those in crisis and reduce opioid-related deaths.
Outpatient Services - FLACRA's outpatient clinics offer evaluations, individual counseling, group sessions, and family & youth counseling. Our outpatient addictions counselors work with our clients to create an individualized, strength-based pathway to recovery.
Fees and Payment
Costs are based on a client's ability to pay, or a sliding fee. No client will be denied service because of inability to pay. We accept Medicaid and most major insurance coverage as payment. We are also a non profit agency, check our ABOUT us page for more information.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
