Our mission is to provide quality individualized essential services for people in need of emotional, rehabilitative and social support, on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, in the least restrictive environment.

Services Offered
MENTAL ILLNESS Mental Illness and Specialized Children and Adolescent Program Services serve children who are experiencing emotional or behaviorial problems. The services are characterized by aggressive outreach to schools, homes and other community location. Crisis services to children provided seven days a week.
CRISIS SERVICES Day time and afterhours mental health crisis services are provided to adults and children twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week including weekends and holidays.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES Community Support Services (CSS) is a new and unique opportunity for consumers diagnosed with a serious mental illness. These services assist the consumer in moving beyond a traditional mental health care and maintenance to skill development, empowerment, and recovery.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE Substance Abuse Treatment Services in an outpatient setting provides screening and assessment services, individual, family, group counseling and activities. Outreach, aftercare, as well as appropriate referral to other agencies or groups, are integral functions of the program.
Intensive Outpatient Services for people with addictions includes intensive (IOP) treatment services, screening individual or group counseling and activity therapy to adults with substance abuse problems.
PARENTING TEENS This program offers a rainbow of opportunities to help you weather the storms of teen parenthood and help insure a safe healthy outcome for you and your baby. DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY SERVICES Developmental Training services are five (5) hours per day activities for developmentally disabled adults with mental retardation, epilepsy, or other neurological disorders. Activities include daily living skills, activity therapy, basic academics, arts and crafts, and field trips.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
