CommQuest Services provides clients a full spectrum of services which includes prevention, mental health, substance abuse, and social services. The integration of these services allows us to better treat the complex needs of each client. CommQuest Services is staffed by licensed professionals. The agency is supported, in large part, by the United Way of Greater Stark County and Stark County Mental Health and Addiction Recovery. Support also comes from fees, donations, grants and foundations. All client matters are assured complete confidentiality. Professional staff members assist with the day-to-day activities of the agency and clients further benefit from inter-agency collaboration.

The agency exists to help you resolve your problems and to resume a healthy, productive life. Mental Health Services are designed for anyone experiencing symptoms or problems that interfere with their daily activities and functioning or the quality of their life. CommQuest Services provides these services to clients of all ages. Our goal is to help people increase their ability to manage their lives by alleviating symptoms, increasing self-awareness, gaining new insights, and improving problem-solving skills; therefore, enhancing the overall quality of life.
Counseling Services - Counseling Services are intended to assist individuals, couples, and families with social, cultural, and developmental issues as well as the problems associated with physical, emotional, and mental disorders. Counselors engage clients in 'Talk Therapy' using evidence based psychotherapeutic techniques. For most clients, counseling leads to symptom reduction, enhanced social/emotional functioning, and a greater sense of empowerment. There are several types of counseling services offered at CommQuest. These Services Offered: Individual Counseling (Adult, Adolescent, Child), Couples/Marital Counseling, Family Counseling, Parent/Child Counseling, and Group Counseling.
Addiction Treatment - Our addiction services provide clients with a continuum of care ranging from detox to outpatient treatment. Our programs are designed to assist you in starting and maintaining a sober life.
Fees and Payment
Mental Health Services are covered by most insurance plans, including Medicaid. We also offer subsidy programs for those individuals without insurance coverage who meet the eligibility guidelines for these programs. We are also a nonprofit agency.

Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
