The River Community Wellness Program offers outpatient mental health services for the civilian community (adults ages 18 and over). Our staff has experience in a variety of specialties, including: * Adult psychiatry * Psychotherapy * Personal adjustment * Medication Management
River Community Wellness Program also offers Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatric Services. As an integral part of River Hospital, the River Community Wellness Program is committed to providing high quality mental health assessment and treatment to children, adolescents and those who care for them in our community.
We continually strive to promote optimum mental health in our clients. Our staff includes licensed therapists and physicians who are board certified.

At River Hospital we are pleased to offer a sliding fee and a Financial Counselor to assist our uninsured/underinsured patients in arranging appointments for Facilitated Enrollment Program to determine alternative options for health care coverage.

Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
