We are an independent local mental health charity working in West Sussex. We offer mental health services, along with associated training and support. We also work in communities to raise awareness and challenge stigma and discrimination. Our services support young people, adults, older adults, carers and families affected by mental health problems.
Support for Younger People
Our youth workers offer one-to-one support at our offices and in other places including local colleges. We have a flexible approach to introductions so we can arrange where best to meet you and if it would be helpful for someone to support you with your first meeting. We will work with you to help you understand what you need and support you to try and achieve goals that you have set for yourself.
Support for Families
Our Families in Mind project, run in partnership with children and family centre staff and health teams, aims to improve the mental health and well-being of parents of young children. We offer support for parents prior to having a child, once their child is born and until their child or chidren reach school age. We also support partners of anyone with a mental health problem if required.
Support for Older People
We help people over 65 who are affected by anxiety, depression, cognitive impairment, memory loss, confusion, dementia, and other mental health issues. We also offer support to their carers.
It can be hard to take the first steps towards getting help and we understand this. Our staff aim to get to know individuals and their carers so we can ensure the support we offer is tailored to their specific needs.
