Children and Young People Counselling This is a confidential counselling service for young people who are unhappy, unsettled or worried because of conflict within the family or other family issues. This service is available to all young people, aged 8 - 18 years. Young people who access this service often feel angry, isolated and confused. This could be as a result of: * Parents separation or divorce, either recently or in the past. * Difficulty adjusting to living in a new family. * Any other family problems or changes. * Anxiety * Peer pressure * Bullying * Social media
Family Counselling Relate Family Counselling Service helps: * Families * Parents and children * Siblings (child or adult) * Extended families * Stepfamilies * Support families through the bereavement process * Improve family life
Every family has arguments or big changes at some time and experience difficult times. Usually these are easily sorted out but sometimes the problems just get worse and the longer they are left the more difficult it can be to make up, creating stress for everyone. At this point outside help may be needed and a Relate family counsellor can help you work things out in a way that is best for everyone.
Relationship Counselling All sorts of people come to Relate and find it helps them to understand what's going on in their relationships and change things for the better. Relationship counselling is available to all over the age of 16.
In counselling, individuals or couples attend sessions with a counsellor who is trained to help them work through issues, understand themselves better and make decisions about what to do next.

Sex Therapy & Sex Addiction It is not uncommon for people to experience sexual difficulties at some time in their lives. There are a lot of physical and emotional reasons why difficuties can happen, for example, stress, tiredness, illness, or a new baby. Sometimes things get better without professional help, but for some people things just go from bad to worse.
Problems such as erectile difficulty, lack of sexual desire, painful sex and premature ejaculation can have devastating effects on a couple's relationship. Identifying those problems and taking steps to address them can have positive results.
Fees and Payment
The first session costs £55 and the following sessions cost £46. per session
A very small amount of bursary funding is available for those on low incomes- please ask and we will try and negotiate a reduced payment with you.
You will be asked to pay in advance for your sessions.
Payment can be made by card, cheque or cash.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
