The Tunisian Institute for the Rehabilitation of Survivors of Torture "NEBRAS"
A Tunisian non-profit association (according to the described law 88-2011) founded in 2014 and which aims to promote the rehabilitation of survivors of torture in through a specialized institute “NEBRAS”. The first rehabilitation institute for survivors of torture in Tunisia was officially inaugurated on December 5, 2014, during this opening ceremony marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Health.
The NEBRAS Institute has been operating since January 2015. It aims to be both a cutting-edge center for the care of victims of psycho-trauma, and for referral to other partner institutions. It is also positioned as an academic actor for the continuing education of health professionals and the promotion of research and studies in the field, in cooperation with universities. Observations and studies aim to develop a broad clinical model, taking into account Tunisian and regional specificities.

Nebras, as its name suggests, aims to be a beacon that illuminates the path of victims of torture for both psychological and social reconstruction, but also a leader in expertise, research and training in the field. documentation and rehabilitation of victims of psychotrauma, all this against a background of commitment to the defense of human rights. Respect for ethics, confidentiality and medical ethics are also the foundations of the organization's work.
NEBRAS provides beneficiaries with a variety of clinical benefits: interviewing for care, medical consultations, psychiatric consultations, psychotherapy sessions with various techniques, reviews speech group nons,clinical assessment sessions and physiotherapy sessions

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance).
