CenClear Services was established in 1980 as a non-profit corporation. Head Start was the original program and the program on which CenClear's comprehensive service delivery system is modeled. Through the provision of Head Start Services, it was soon realized that there were other issues that the Head Start program alone could not address. Where the community was lacking in a service, CenClear Services conceptualized and designed a program to fill the need.
Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services (BHRS)
Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services (BHRS), formerly known as the "Wrap Around" program, is a short-term, intensive program designed to meet the social, emotional and behavioral health needs of children from birth to age 21. This program helps children and adolescents whose behavior or mental health symptoms are leading to issues at home, in school and/or in their community. The purpose of this program is to surround the child with the care and the behavioral support needed to improve their behavior and/or reduce their symptoms. This service can be provided in the home, school and/or community.
Blended Case Management (BCM)
The Blended Case Management program provides case management services to adults, children, and adolescents that are affected by mental health, emotional, developmental, and behavior issues including co-occurring. The goal is to maintain the consumer in their own community. An assigned case manager works with consumers to access, link, coordinate, and monitor needs of services as well as provide support and advocacy. Blended Case Management Services are only available to residents of Bedford, Blair, Cameron, Elk and Somerset counties.
Community and School Based Behavioral Health
CenClear's Community and School Based Behavioral Health service (CSBBH) helps children with severe emotional or behavioral problems, which are leading to issues at school, at home and in the community. This program teaches children new ways to manage their feelings and behaviors so the child is ready to learn and get along better with others.
