Services Offered
Behavioral Health - COFMC Behavioral Health Department provides outpatient mental/behavioral health and/or substance abuse services for children, adults, and/or families throughout the immediate community and the surrounding areas. Regardless of the diagnosis, the Behavioral Health department is dedicated to providing high quality services in a safe and supportive environment where all consumers are treated with dignity and respect.
Services available include assessment, evaluation, prevention and education, individual and family therapy, substance abuse counseling, medication referral and support, psychosocial rehabilitation, day treatment, case management, risk assessment for pain management services, consultation and referral, and crisis intervention. All services provided are administered by qualified professionals and are client specific and goal oriented based on the identified need.
Fees and Payment
It is the practice of Central Oklahoma Family Medical Center to charge patients according to their ability to pay. Patients who have either no third party reimbursement or inadequate coverage will be eligible for the sliding fee scale if they qualify according to their family size and proof of income.

If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
