Outpatient Services and Programs - Center Division provides comprehensive counseling services to individuals, couples, families and groups by skilled and credentialed outpatient clinicians.
Family Court Counseling Program - The Family Counseling Program provides short-term family counseling for at-risk youth referred by Children's Mobile Response, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), and other agencies. The program is designed to address the needs of children and their families related to one or more of the following areas: family conflict, truancy, threats of running away, safety concerns and issues related to past or future legal involvement. The program works to stabilize the child and family and support positive behavioral change in the context of outpatient family therapy.
Hispanic Outpatient Program (HOP) Bilingual and Bicultural Outpatient Counseling Services
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - Our program offers primarily group-based services as well as individual and family therapy, psycho-social education and medication monitoring services. Individuals must present with a primary mental health diagnosis. Individuals with co-occurring substance use issues are able to participate in IOP services providing they are not in need of medical intervention for detoxification. Individuals with co-occurring substance use issues must agree to service coordination with other substance treatment or medical treatment providers and agree to random testing for substances.
Youth Partial Care Program (YPC) - Services are provided through a comprehensive, intensive after-school program that includes individual, group and family therapy.
Fees and Payment
Fees are based on a sliding scale related to your ability to pay. Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurance including many HMO's are accepted. Inability to pay for services shall not preclude receipt of services.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
