Vitality Unlimited is a non-profit, federally recognized, 501(c)(3) corporation with a long, successful history of providing community services, affordable housing, high-quality substance use disorder treatment, and access to behavioral health services. Our successful record of accomplishment is due to the hard work and expertise of our staff and the guidance of our Board of Directors.
What started in 1971 as a one-person, remote, outpatient substance abuse treatment office in Elko has become a social safety net servicing the residents of the state of Nevada. The Vitality Integrated Programs organizational umbrella reflects the broadened scope of our nonprofit community service agency.
In 2017, we were one of the first to add the innovative new Behavioral Health model and expand our company and services to offer Vitality Integrated Programs (VIP). The model is called Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs). Since opening our first CCBHC in Elko, Nevada, and due to its success in community-based services, we have opened three more CCBHCs in Carson City, Dayton, and Reno, Nevada.
With this as a foundation, Vitality Integrated Programs added to our continuum of care for substance abuse and mental health clients to include bilingual services, pet therapy, and transitional and low-income affordable housing for families, seniors, and homeless veterans. We recognize that success must be earned through innovation, hard work, responsiveness to client and employee needs, and integrity in all business practices.
Vitality Unlimited provides behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services throughout Nevada. Our four fully-accredited Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics provide 10 core services, with an emphasis on 24-hour crisis care, utilization of evidence-based practices, patient centered, family centered, trauma focused, care coordination and integration with physical health care. Our 10 core services include crisis mental health services, screening, assessment, and diagnosis; patient-centered treatment planning; outpatient mental health and substance use services; primary care, MAT and psychiatric medications; targeted case management; psychiatric rehabilitation services; peer support, counseling and family support; intensive mental health care for those in the military and veterans, and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT).
We take Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, most insurances, and a sliding-fee scale for our services.
