The multidisciplinary team of the Psychosocial Center (CPS) ensures that the child, the young person and his family are at the center of all therapeutic interventions. To offer the most complete services possible, the environment of the child and youth is involved in the process and the CPS works in collaboration with local agencies. Different parental support groups are integrated into the treatment.

Interventions in Mid-Life
This program provides services in the living environment of children and youth as well as in their families.

Day Treatment Center (Children and Youth)
This program for children and youth ages 4 to 12, in partnership with The Transit School, offers therapeutic group workshops as well as a regular school-based reintegration support service for children with behavioral and mental health issues. mental health.

This program, in partnership with Le Transit School, welcomes young women aged 14 to 18 (pregnant) as well as mothers aged 14 to 25 (with child (ren)) who wish to complete their secondary studies.
The mission of the program is to empower young mothers to assume their responsibilities as adults and as independent parents.
The CPS offers a day care service and a therapeutic support service. Therapeutic help is individual, group or by accompaniment. Animation workshops are also offered to young mothers.
Early Detection Program
The program provides assessment and screening services for the overall development of children aged 18 months to 5 years.
The results of the assessment will be shared with the parents and professionals involved, and where appropriate, families will be directed to additional services.
Canadian Mental Health Service for Francophones
The Psychosocial Center for Children's Mental Health offers quality services to Francophone communities. With the help of videoconferencing and support from local stakeholders, remote, adapted and French-language services are now available in remote areas following agreements with various organizations.
Through these partnerships with communities or organizations, and with an original and bold model, the CPS provides assessment, early intervention and treatment services to children and their families. In addition, the multidisciplinary team also provides support to stakeholders and teachers through case studies, consultation, supervision and mentoring. This innovative model allows the handling of more complex mental health issues requiring more specialized expertise. In addition, it provides support in the management of these cases and to convey certain courses of action.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
