Specialized Programs Our physician-supervised wellness centers specialize in integrated healthcare that is tailored to your individual health needs. We proudly offer a wide range of services designed to enhance your personal wellness, including primary medical care, mental health and substance use recovery groups, individual counseling, peer support, nutrition education, chronic disease management, tobacco cessation, health screenings, member employment training and lab services. Telemedicine options are also available.
* Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) - We provide integrated help for individuals with a serious mental illness (SMI) in a supportive team environment, leveraging decades of expertise for the highest quality of care. We provide wrap-around stabilization, including housing services.
Our community treatment and rehabilitation model helps decrease hospital admissions, first responder calls and ER visits. It also increases compliance with medication, improves self-sufficiency and fosters independence.
We serve adults with Title XIX SMI, including those who suffer from: > Schizophrenia spectrum disorders > Bipolar spectrum disorders > Schizoaffective spectrum disorders > Co-occurring substance use and behavioral health disorders
* Desert Garden Behavioral Health Residential Program - Community Partners Integrated Healthcare offers a crisis residential program with stays of up to 10 days.
Desert Garden is part of our crisis system of care. The program offers short-term, post-inpatient stabilization for adults ages 18+ enrolled in Cenpatico Integrated Care. Services Offered: > Crisis and medication stabilization > Therapeutic services and supportive care > Skill building and supports to maintain independence in the community > Continued stabilizing for individuals following a hospital stay using therapeutic/crisis interventions, medication and ongoing care
* Desert Mountain Intensive Behavioral Healthcare - Provides intensive behavioral health therapeutic interventions for adults with long-term psychiatric needs.

A community counseling agency is a group therapy practice that offers affordable mental health services. Most are independent non-profit agencies, state agencies, or publicly-funded agencies. A few may restrict who is eligible for services, so it is a good idea to check when you call.
Community counseling agencies are generally more affordable than other therapy providers, but how much more affordable they are will depend on whether you qualify for a discount or sliding scale fee (or if they accept your insurance). Many, but not all, have a policy that they won't turn away anyone due to inability to pay. You should ask about their fees when you first call.
Expect to talk to kind people who want to help you find the care you need. Most community agencies strive to connect you with a live person within 24 hours, if not immediately. If you're asked to hold or leave a message, don't give up; just leave a message and wait. You should hear back pretty quickly.
Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
