Psychological care is one of the basic and important services for the elderly , so we prioritize the improvement of this service and others through the psychiatrist and psychologist. The association provides a psychiatrist within a specific program and a psychological counselor throughout the week, and performs the following tasks: - Accompany the psychiatrist on his tour - The morning tour of the guests to check on them. - Follow-up on the condition of inmates when they are transferred to a psychiatric hospital or in case the inmate is taken to clinics and follow up on their appointments Preparing comprehensive files for the elderly - Giving psychological support sessions to the elderly and accompanying persons - Giving individual and group therapeutic counseling sessions for some problems of the elderly - Receiving the elderly, opening special files for them, and following up on them in case they leave the departments for any reason (after-care)

Most agencies try to set up an initial assessment appointment within a week (some do within 24 hours), though the waitlist to start therapy is usually longer—about a few weeks on average. If you're not eligible or if the agency is not right for you, it's usually still worth it to call or drop in, because staff are knowledgeable about local options and can often refer you to one.
