Dar Karama was established based on the Law No. (9) of 2009 to Prevent Human Trafficking, and in accordance with Article No. (7) of the law, where the system of shelters for victims and those affected by human trafficking crimes was established for the year 2012, to come as an integrated service center to protect victims of human trafficking and to represent A working methodology that allows victims of human trafficking to meet with a qualified multidisciplinary team. It receives victims of human trafficking crimes from the target groups (men, women, children). Providing the integrated services necessary to protect and care for victims of human trafficking within the “social, psychological, police, medical, legal, judicial and hosting center.”

Psychological counseling services The psychological service is provided by the psychologist inside the home, which includes individual and group psychological sessions, during which several strategies are used that aim to: - Increasing individual awareness and insight. - Reducing conflicts that may cause disability (in thinking, perception and decision-making ability) - Increasing the individual's self-acceptance. - Helping the victim to find more efficient methods of dealing with problems using the following types of psychotherapy: - Supportive psychotherapy, which aims to allow the victim to express problems and troubles without fear. - Affirmation therapy, which aims to learn techniques to modify undesirable behavior. - Self-psychological treatment, which aims to raise self-efficacy. - Cognitive therapy, which aims to correct the wrong ways of thinking.
