I have been enjoying counseling for the past 5 years because it gives me the opportunity to help others get past problems, gain more confidence, and enjoy enriching relationships! I enjoy working with clients with all mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, personal insecurities, relationship problems, and performance issues. I use person centered and cognitive behavioral therapy to build a trusting and supportive relationship with my clients. I live a vastly fulfilling life myself and believe healing comes through the connection I have with my clients. I have had great success in moving others past their difficulties so they can live a healthy, enriching life. I am prepared to bridge the chasm between where you are now and the life you feel you could be living. My specialties are: overcoming depression, trauma, relationship building, self-esteem building, overcoming ineffectiveness, and stress management. I believe the riches of the world are the people in it. Let me get to know you.

David has been a great help

David has been a literal life saver. I was in a relationship with someone truly toxic and he was supportive in my efforts to save my relationship but was also real with me about the obvious abuse going on. Without him I dont know what I would have done. He is kind and supportive and intuitive and I am so grateful that I was able to connect with him.

Dave is a kind individual that truly cares about the lives of his clients. Very knowledgeable and honest with the information he shares.

I’ve only had two video sessions with David so far but I believe he is very good at addressing my concerns and direct enough to point out areas that I need to work on. He is right on time and has a calm friendly demeanor so he’s comfortable to communicate with.

His advice is well structured, to see where you are in life. He extends every tool of self-understanding to aid in recovery. He has helped me understand where I am and where to go.

I really appreciate David's approach and his listening and advice. I also really appreciate the extra worksheets he gives to help me work on things and make our sessions more productive.

David takes the time to really listen. He tries to understand my perspective and helps me understand the perspective of others in my life. He gives useful advice and things to think about between sessions. He helps me remain positive and hopeful through the difficulties I'm facing.

David has been fantastic for me and he has helped me through a very tough time. Unfortunately the app/website has let me down payment wise and skimmed days off when I started so I was unable to say thank you to David before my ‘month’ was up. I am doing well now and things are on the up. David has had a massive impact on my progress and if I feel I need to return to therapy, I will seek David out. I’m sorry I didn’t get chance to say thank you properly and I, and my family, will be forever grateful for the help you have given. All the best David.

David has been excellent. Our sessions often consist of him asking thoughtful/conversational questions (I can be shy so it helps to open things up) and then I’m able to confide what’s been going on in my life and recovery. When David chimes in, he offers commentary to address not only what I’m saying but also the underlying issue where I need support - which is perfect since it’s these underlying issues that are causing my daily symptoms. Only a couple sessions so far but I feel supported.

I was skeptical about therapy but I feel taking therapy was a good decision. That was the best decision I feel. I am feeling positive after discussion with David. He is a good listener and very helpful when it comes to therapy.

David had been extremely helpful in the short amount of time we have been talking. He is very good about giving practical advice and things to try! He keeps me focused on the issues I am dealing with and offers nice insight on random daily things. He is very understanding and wants to do what works best for you!
