Free Telephone Counseling Hotlines

These are free telephone counseling hotlines available to all. Some will provide help over the phone, while others will refer you to in-person care. In case of emergency, please dial 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room. If you or someone you know is in suicidal, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

There are agencies which offer short term crisis counseling and referrals in the list below. For long term counseling, please consider a local resource. You can also use the search box at the top of this page to find an affordable counseling in your area.
